Bell First Responser Course

Joe Schmaltz, Bell Training Academy This program provides first responders information about the dangers, hazards and safety precautions of operating in the helicopter environment and the skills necessary to protect themselves and others. The course will also describe the actions and procedures necessary to safely extract the pilot and crew from a downed helicopter and how to properly secure the scene of an accident.

FW Pilot Refresher Training

Helicopter Pilot Refresher Course

Water Survival/Dunker Training

Hugh Teel & Staff, Survival Systems, Inc. You’ll learn from a team of experts how to egress after ditching in water and how to use your emergency air and survival vest. Equipment and techniques will be discussed in ground school followed by practical application in the dunker at the Hilton Hotel indoor pool. There is a $30 fee plus a waiver form to be completed prior to training.
